This is another of the books from the list of kids books that adults should reread. Again, this book is a "first read" for me.The main character is Dickory Dock, aged 17 and an art student who answers an ad to be an artist's assistant. The book description says it is for readers at the 5th grade level and up.
I have not yet finished reading the book, but I find it is full of word play and satirical elements. I am enjoying this book A LOT and am very happy to find that it is available from Powell's Books!
