The
second Nursery Crime novel, The Fourth Bear, was the next book
listened to in 2015. This book is
interesting ... but I think I missed something.
I thought oatmeal was allowable, based on something stated early in the
book. But then it turns out, it is a
controlled substance and ... **sigh**
However,
this is another well plotted mystery from Jasper Fforde. Simon Vance reads this book. I suppose, if I had not heard Prebble read
the first Nursery Crime novel I might enjoy this reading more than I do. Vance isn't bad at it, but he brings a
different interpretation of the characters through their voices than Prebble
brings to the characters and story.
